Just a friendly reminder that you have until December 31, 2010 pass your CompTIA Security+, Network+, or A+ exams to achieve “certification for life” status. As of January 1, 2011, these certifications will be valid for three years from the date of certification. Complete coverage of the CompTIA renewal policy is found here: http://www.comptia.org/certifications/listed/renewal.aspx#one
Microsoft has announced they will be retiring most of the SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2005, and BizTalk Server 2006 exams by June 30, 2011. Exam 70-536 (TS: Microsoft .NET Framework – Application Development Foundation) will remain available, since it is part of the Visual Studio 2008 (.NET 3.5) curriculum.
